Over the years, many individuals within The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany have remembered The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany in their estate plans.
In celebration and recognition of these commitments to The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, individuals who document a specific or residual bequest provision of at least $10,000 will be recognized through The John Cardinal McCloskey Society of the Foundation of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.
In order to be recognized within The John Cardinal McCloskey Society, a person may provide The Foundation of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany with either a copy of the specific provision within their will that reflects the estate commitment or a completed Bequest Provision form that appears within this brochure.
Bequests may be designated for the unrestricted use of The Foundation or may be applied to enhance the financial position of any existing account currently under management. Additionally, a bequest gift may be designated to establish an endowment memorial account that perpetually celebrates and recalls the person or persons for whom the account is named.The annual income from an endowed memorial account may significantly enhance the financial position of any Diocesan agency, program, parish or school.

To Establish a Memorial Endowment Fund to Benefit a Specific Diocesan Parish, Agency, Program or School:
I give the sum of _________ to The Foundation of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, New York, Inc. to establish (name of fund) to benefit (Diocesan parish, agency, program, school) without restriction or condition of any kind.
To Add to An Existing Account or Fund Within The Foundation:
I give the sum of _____ to The Foundation of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, New York, Inc. to be added to (name of existing fund within The Foundation).
To Make an Unrestricted Gift to The Foundation:
I give the sum of _____ to The Foundation of The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, New York, Inc. without restriction or condition of any kind.
